Welcome to Soil Association's Impact Report

We're so proud of everything we've achieved with your support this year!

Our report, covering the 23/24 financial year, brings together a selection of stories that demonstrate the breadth and depth of our impact - how we are making change happen locally, nationally and internationally.

We're making an impact every day, and we couldn't do it without you

"Thank you to the many funders and individuals who take the time to get to know us, to dig deep into our work and philosophy.

Your preparedness to explore the breadth and depth of the range of issues that make up the food web, and to help us become ever more effective, is hugely appreciated."

- Helen Browning, Chief Executive, Soil Association Group in this year's foreword

We work for every child and for communities

What we eat impacts our health and development. But food insecurity and lack of access to healthy options is rising.

In this year's report, we show how we're placing power and resources into the hands of people who really know where change needs to happen.

"Food for Life [is] not just about educating the children, it's educating the team and the family as well." Lead at a Food for Life certified nursery.

We work for every farmer and for forests

The farming and forestry sectors have the power to rebuild our relationship with the natural world.

In this year's report, read about how we're boosting the uptake of nature-friendly farming, promoting high animal welfare, and campaigning for support for farmers and land managers.

"You can be quite isolated on a farm, but when you go [to a FAB event], you get the opportunity to chew the fat with other farmers and find out about what they’re doing." - Devon farmer David Snowden

We work for Organic for All

"The organic movement offers a clear solution to the climate, nature and health crisis - we just need to scale it up." Sarah Compson, Director of Standards Innovation

Our standards for organic production push for sustainable, climate-friendly food, forestry, textiles, and more.

We believe that organic should be a right, not a privilege. Our vision for the future is Organic for All. Read the full report for more details on how we're looking for new opportunities to make this vision a reality.
