Looking for land

There’s not anything much more exciting than beginning your search for land. But it can be a difficult process, trying to find out what’s around or what might become available.

We don’t have any land for renting from with the Land Trust at the moment but if you’d like us to let you know when we do, get in touch.

Here’s some suggestions for useful links on where to look for land:

• Organic Market Place allows you to post an advert if you would like to.
• If you are interested in the Community Supported Agriculture approach, then there is a wealth of information, resources and tools  on this national website.
• Fresh Start is involved in a pilot matching service between those looking for land and those with land available. You can also download the highly recommended, free Land Partnerships handbook.
• Community Land Advisory Service can advise on a community approach.
• Try your local press, including farming press, and local land agents. Good luck!
