  Locavore are are a zero waste organic shop, deli and café, selling a wide variety of food, cleaning and beauty products. Most of these products are available as refills - bring your own bags, bottles and jars or buy them from in-store. They specialise in sourcing as many local products as they can and grow a lot of the fruit and veg they sell at their organic small farm on the outskirts of Glasgow. They even have a milk machine for refilling your bottles with local organic, non-homogenised milk.

  

• Linton - Whitmuir The Organic Place

  Based on their 54 hectare mixed farm, Whitmuir's organic farm shop and cafe sells butchered meat and fresh soft fruit and veg, alongside wines and spirits and a host of baked and dairy goods. The site is also home to a plant nursery and the farm is open for tours.

  

• Perth - Hugh Grierson Organic Farm Butchery

  These organic farm butchers 7 miles west of Perth breed and rear their own Aberdeen Angus cattle, home bred lamb, rare breed outdoor reared pork. They also rear slow growing chickens and free range organic eggs. They butcher and pack on farm, and sell nationwide and at farmers markets.

• Edinburgh - Dig-In Bruntsfield
