Lucy Gatward - Senior Farming Communications Officer

Lucy’s role is to capture the great work undertaken by the Producer Support team and communicate it to farmers and growers interested and involved with regenerative farming.

She does this via social media, newsletters, and the website, working with others in the organisation to get topics out to as wide an audience as possible.

Away from Soil Association, Lucy is food sector lead for Bristol Going for Gold – the city’s bid to become a Gold Sustainable Food Place, helping food businesses in their sustainability practices.

She’s also a trustee of Bristol Fair Trade Network.

Before this, she was marketing manager at Better Food, a small chain of organic shops and cafes in Bristol. She has over 15 years’ experience of working with organic food and supply chains.
