Lauren is CEO at the Institute of Business Ethics, a global non-profit helping business use ethics to do better. She joined in September 2024. Before joining the Institute, Lauren led her own strategic advisory firm, working with wide range of leaders, companies and not-for-profits on sustainability, communications, culture, leadership and strategy. Before this, Lauren led corporate affairs and sustainability functions working dealing with complex social, environmental or governance issues.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Lauren has worked with some of the world’s largest and best-known companies, brands and non-profits, working in a wide range of sectors, including extensive experience in the food and drink sector. She has an Ecology degree, is a guest lecturer at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and was previously a NED at the Sustainable Restaurant Association.
