Brendan directs the Soil Association’s Policy Unit.
Brendan Costelloe has a wide range of environmental policy expertise, spanning the public, NGO and private sectors. He was formerly a non-political advisor to the Secretary of State for Defra, following roles at the RSPB and the British Ecological Society. Most recently he has been engaging the private sector as an Associate Director at Biodiversify, particularly on nature related corporate disclosure frameworks. Brendan is also a trustee for a small development charity in Malawi focusing on education, and he sits on the Cotswold National Landscape Conservation Board.
