David Langlands

David is an accountant by profession and has spent most of his career working for international agricultural businesses.  He joined the ABF Group in 1994, having trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG’s London office, and progressed from international business development manager to Finance Director of ABF’s agricultural and then sugar divisions.  These roles involved significant time acquiring and developing businesses in China, Africa and Europe.

He left ABF in 2010 to work for PwC’s Sustainability and Climate Change Team, but returned 3 years later to develop and then manage the sustainable supply chain specialist business, AB Sustain.

David is now retired from corporate life and spends much of his time supporting the Wildlife Trust as a volunteer and walking the family Jack Russell.
