Amber studied Geography at Aberystwyth with a focus on biogeography, writing her dissertation on the importance of wild places whilst she volunteered as a National Trust ranger on the Lizard peninsular in Cornwall.
Coming from a farming community in rural Nottinghamshire Amber has a keen interest in countryside management and farming systems and has worked on a variety of farms in Nottinghamshire and further afield in India and Nepal.
Outside of work Amber is a keen clothes maker and enjoys long distant hiking and backpacking trips.
