Planning for Change: Making the most of Whole Farm Plans
Thursday 20 February, 10am–2pm
Lochhouses Farm, near Dunbar
Join us at Lochhouses Farm in East Lothian for a farm walk and workshop exploring the upcoming Whole Farm Plans requirements and what these will mean for your farm, how the Whole Farm Planning framework can be used to improve farm resilience, and potential benefits of reducing climate impacts of farming operations (e.g. using an IPM plan to reduce the need for expensive inputs).
We will look at Lochhouses’ farming operations and how data has informed decision making, and hear how features such as margins, wetlands and woodlands also benefit the farm.
Hot lunch included.
FREE and open to farmers, crofters, growers and land managers. Booking required.
