Approved inputs standards
The approved inputs standards assure that an input, such as fertiliser or compost, meets the Soil Association standards and organic regulation. The scheme means that farmers and growers can confidently choose the right inputs.
The aim of the scheme is to ensure transparency by setting out a clear set of requirements for inputs. These are accessible to both consumers and product manufacturers.
