The Growth is in Organic Herbs

New networking opportunities with Organic Herb Growers Co-operative

Our horticultural team have been working with The Organic Herb Growers Co-operative (OHGC) to help network growers, processors and customers together to satisfy the increasing demand for both medicinal and culinary organic herbs.

This network will help growers get added benefits through collaborative working, administrative support, access to new customers and training. As well as this, they’ll be able to explore capital investment opportunities for increasing drying and processing facilities.

Growers needed to join the network!

Whether you’re an existing organic herb grower, or an organic grower interested in exploring the opportunities, or a non-organic herb grower interested in becoming certified, the OHGC would love to hear from you.

The intention of this collaborative way of working is to build relationships across similar crop sectors such as flowers to further enhance diversity across new and existing farms.

Soil Association horticulture team’s involvement

Our involvement in this project is to provide support in building a network of growers, processors and customers, and to offer horticultural advice and guidance.
