Changes to US regulations will affect organic exports to the US
The Strengthening Organic Enforcement (SOE) final rule is a new piece of US regulation that closes gaps in current organic regulations and builds consistent certification practices to prevent fraud and improve the transparency and traceability of organic products. The SOE means additional responsibilities for operators on both sides of the Atlantic from March 2024. For further details, please see our recent Trade News item.

FDEA Trade Mission & Showcase Stand Seoul South Korea: 9th-14th June 2024
Join the FDEA’s trade mission to Seoul, South Korea, which will coincide with the Seoul Food trade fair on the 9th - 14th June. The programme will include: pre-show market insights workshop in May; 3 hours of export support service for individual delegates with the DBT Seoul team; networking event in Seoul, plus in-person briefing and half day store visits tour; products featured on FDEA showcase stand at Seoul Food 2024; travel dates in Seoul – arriving 8th June, with delegates staying until 11th for the in-market events and/or staying until 14th June if they want to attend the entirety of Seoul Food show.
