Auditor training course 

Accredited to FSC-PRO-20-004

We are offering auditor training courses in collaboration with FSC® Africa. FSC Africa aims to build auditors’ capacity across the continent to respond to increased demand for certification. This training targets areas with limited or no auditors, but with high potential for FSC certifications in Forest Management (FM) or Chain of Custody (CoC).

Registration Details 

We are opening registration for a total of 10 FSC CoC and 10 FSC FM potential auditor candidates from Eastern Africa, the Congo Basin, and Southern Africa. The courses will be delivered free of charge (including refreshments and lunches).

Funding support for travel and accommodation may be available for successful candidates. In the “Describe your motivation” section, please let us know if this is something you would require and include a very brief justification. For example, you would struggle to attend this course without funding support, you are self-employed, a recent graduate, or currently unemployed. We DO NOT require details of personal finances.

Key Details

• Deadline for registering your interest: 9th September 2024. 

• Notification of successful candidates: 7th October 2024. 

• FM Training Course: 28th October 2024 to 1st November 2024. 

• CoC Training Course: 4th November 2024 to 8th November 2024. 

The successful candidates will be assigned the first part of the course (e-learning) and will be provided with relevant information for the second part of the course, which will be held face-to-face in Nairobi, Kenya.
