Carbon certification schemes
Soil Association Certification is leading the way in the rapidly growing carbon sequestration and avoided emissions sector.
We offer validation and verification to schemes dedicated to the transparent monitoring of carbon sequestration. The nature-based schemes we assure to deliver real benefits to the climate and environment with some of the most valuable voluntary carbon credits available due to the co-benefits they can deliver.
Experienced carbon validation services
Since 2017 Soil Association Certification has validated over 100 UK woodland creation projects under the Woodland Carbon Code, ensuring they are sustainably managed to national standards. We are now a trusted validator and verifier for the Peatland Code and Wilder Carbon, bringing our expertise in the sector to work with projects that are making long-term commitments to carbon sequestration.
Carbon assurances that make a difference
As the importance of regenerative land management to mitigate climate change becomes ever more essential, carbon offsetting projects audited by Soil Association Certification offer assurances that they will deliver the carbon savings they promise, whilst providing other benefits to society and biodiversity.
