- Intended use
Soil Association Certification have produced organic farm information boards for the sole intended use of organic farms currently certified by Soil Association Certification, holding an up-to-date certificate. Farms that are not certified organic by Soil Association Certification are not permitted to order or display the boards.
If you decide to end your licence with Soil Association Certification or your certification is revoked, you must immediately take the boards down.
- Design
The design of the organic farm information boards is the sole intellectual property of Soil Association Certification and must not be duplicated without express permission from Soil Association Certification.
Periodically the designs of the boards may be updated, or new boards added. If you have any suggestions for new boards, you might like to see available please email marketingsupport@soilassociation.org and we can consider your request.
- Board material and life span
Boards are weatherproof, are suitable for use outdoors and should have a life span of approximately 2 years. However, this may vary dependent on where they are placed on the farm and how exposed to the elements the boards are.
Soil Association Certification are not responsible for the replacement of boards that deteriorate over time.
The farm information boards are printed on A3 size Triaprint 3.4mm boards and will be supplied as such. Recipients are responsible for mounting and displaying boards as they see fit.
- Recycling
Triaprint boards are made of 100% polypropylene and are 100% recyclable. This means they can be added to your household plastic waste collection, or alternatively deposited at your local recycling centre. It is your responsibility to dispose of the boards responsibly.
- Costs
The high costs of printing weatherproof boards is such that this cost cannot be covered by Soil Association Certification, therefore the print and fulfillment costs only will be passed on directly to those persons ordering boards. Please note that these may be subject to change based on the cost of materials.
The cost of the farm boards is displayed as the cost per board and listed on our website.
- Currency
All fees and charges will be processed in UK pounds sterling, with VAT applied at the applicable rate.
- Fulfilment
Orders that are placed via the Soil Association website will be processed on the first Monday of each month and passed on to the printer for fulfilment and distribution. Please be aware this may result in a short delay between ordering your information boards and their arrival.
- Cancelling orders
If you wish to cancel an order placed, please contact us as soon as possible after payment is made, and prior to the first Monday of the following month (at which time orders will be processed). If you are eligible for a refund, this will be made within 28 working days from the date of the request.
- Amending orders
If you wish to amend an order to change which boards, you wish to receive you can email your request to marketingsupport@soilassociation.org using the subject line “Farm board order amends”. Please note amends can only be made up to the first Monday of the month, which is when orders will be fulfilled.
If you wish to amend the number of boards you have ordered and that number is lower than the initial order placed, you may be eligible for a partial refund. Please contact us as per the above and we will consider your request.
