Public Vote Award - Nation's Favourite Organic Product
Any member of the public can cast a vote for the Nation's Favourite Organic Product Award, which must be certified as organic by an accredited certification body. This award now includes Food & Drink, Beauty & Wellbeing and Fashion & Textiles products.
Dates for voting will be confirmed in January 2025. Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates!
Soil Association Special Contribution Award
This award is dedicated to someone who has made an outstanding contribution to organic. Entries to this category are by nomination from Soil Association and Soil Association Certification staff.
How the BOOM Awards are judged
Judging will take place in spring 2025. Finalists will be contacted shortly after the judging to confirm they have been shortlisted for an award, by the beginning of June 2025 at the latest.
The Organic Food & Drink Product awards are tasted by an independent panel of judges. They are judged on quality and taste, not organic story. We regret that entrants may not attend judging.
The only exception is the Best of New Organic Food & Drink Product Award and Best of Organic Baby & Children’s Food & Drink Product award, which are also judged on evidence submitted via the online entry form.
The Beauty & Wellbeing and Fashion & Textiles Awards will be judged remotely and the top three finalists will be asked to send products for testing.
The Organic For All Awards are ‘desk-based’, meaning they are judged remotely by an independent panel of judges.
The Public Vote Award will be judged remotely in two rounds:
- Nominations are checked for integrity and then shortlisted down to the top 10
- Finalists will be promoted for further voting and the Nation's Favourite Organic Product will be awarded to the entry with the highest number of votes
