New organic production regulations

The European Commission has published the new organic regulation on organic production and labelling of organic products - Regulation (EU) 20118/848  

The new regulation will apply from Friday 1st January 2021.

To accompany the regulation, there will be a number of implementing and delegated acts, which will include the detailed rules for certification including permitted farm inputs, additives and processing aids. These are being developed during 2018.
