Imports from Ex-Soviet states
Following concerns over the organic integrity of products from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Russian Federation the EC have placed additional controls on import of certain organic goods from these countries.
The additional controls apply to products with CN codes chapter 10, 11, 12 and 23 and are relevant only to the importer of the goods, not later stages in the supply chain.
We will contact all licensees who are certified as an importer directly with more details, if you are unsure whether these additional controls will affect you please contact your Certification Officer.
