Farm water management (SFIN)

This is a half-day event looking at effective and innovative farm water management, on an award-winning farm which successfully combines wildlife conservation with a productive and sustainable farming business. We will discuss a range of topics and see practical examples of:
- Runoff capture and filtration using ponds & wetland areas
- Field corner filter areas
- Seasonal grazing of wetland areas
- The myriad benefits of planting (and managing) trees & hedgerows
- Available support and associated challenges
There will also be time for discussion over coffee and cake. As this event runs over lunchtime please bring a packed lunch.
