Organic part-time postgraduate opportunity

04 August 2010

The Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) is accepting applications to join its part-time distance learning courses, starting this September.

SAC has been running a part-time distance learning courses in organic farming several years and over 100 students have achieved the Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) or Master of Science (MSc).

Students study on a part-time distance learning basis over two or three years, allowing those with employment or family commitments to participate. The majority of learning is carried out in the student's own home or workplace, with several weekend schools (at Craibstone, Aberdeen) and a short study tour. Individual modules may also be taken for continual professional development or interest purposes.
