Starts: 20 July 2013 10:00
Ends: 21 July 2013 16:00
Macbiehill Farmhouse, Lamancha, near Edinburgh EH46 7AZ
Teaching real bread making since 2003. The place for bread where there’s... fun in the making, purpose in the baking, joy in the breaking.
Two-day course £395
The most popular of all our courses, for amateurs and professionals alike, this is where you begin to understand the basics of fermentation and learn to make good, tasty and digestible bread.
In a small group, (so that everyone gets good guidance), you will learn to make basic yeasted and sourdough loaves, to produce a seasonal star turn from an enriched dough, and to handle laminated dough with enough skill to create an impressive batch of croissants or pain au chocolat.
‘my heartfelt thanks to you both and your team in making the Bread Matters fundamental course such an inspiring and highly memorable time at your lovely home. It has buoyed my enthusiasm...’
