We are recruiting for a trainee in our Gardening team, from April to September 2013

Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm
£1006 gross per month plus benefits

Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, located in the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Great Milton in the outskirts of Oxford, is renowned as one of Britain's finest gastronomic experiences. It is also one of the country’s most intimate and original hotels, with 32 individually designed guest rooms.
 
Created by celebrated chef Raymond Blanc, Le Manoir has been delighting guests since 1984. A year later it was awarded two Michelin stars, which it has now held for a remarkable 28 years.

The gardens covers 7.5 acres of ornamental gardens in which our guest may stroll around the Japanese garden, pond garden, mushroom valley, fruit orchard, herb garden, micro production area and 1.5 acres of Soil Association approved vegetable garden, harvested to supply our kitchen.

The role involves working alongside our experienced team of gardeners using attention to detail to maintain the highest standards befitting of our guests. From sowing to thinning out, watering to weeding, harvesting daily to our kitchen requirements, you will be enriching our guest experience.

You will receive on job learning and development and also the full company induction.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual as part of the Soil Association's Future Growers scheme. Previous work experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not necessary.

We provide meals on duty, paid holiday pro rata, a paid day off on your birthday and all benefits of Le Manoir. We have free Wi-Fi and access to computers and the internet at Le Manoir.

We provide polo shirts and sweat shirts. Other uniform and safety shoes are provided by the student. We also provide assistance in finding local accommodation if required.

Own transport is recommended as our location is rural.
