VIBES Awards 2012

17 May 2012

Search begins for Scotland's leading green businesses

Businesses are being encouraged to enter the race to find Scotland’s most environmentally-aware firms as the 2012 Vision in Business for the Environment of Scotland (VIBES) Awards application deadline draws nearer.

The leading environmental awards scheme aims to recognise  businesses of all sizes and sectors employing environmental best practice in their day-to-day activity to cut down on resource use, increase sustainability, improve reputation and benefit the company’s bottom-line.

Over the past decade, the free-to-enter awards have produced winners and commended companies from across Scotland including household names like Robert Wiseman Dairies and Mitsubishi.

VIBES is the only Scottish awards scheme that feeds into the European Business Awards for the Environment (EBAE) which attracts entries from the cream of Europe’s most environmentally positive businesses.

All shortlisted entries for the VIBES Awards will also be offered free support from The Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation. This support will be available for a minimum of half a day, and a maximum of three days, within six months of the VIBES Award ceremony.

All entries must be received before the 6 July deadline. For more information or to obtain an application form visit
